Jimmy graduated from the University of Alabama in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration and a major in accounting and marketing. In August 1993, he received his certificate as a certified public accountant. Since that time he has been a member of the AICPA, Alabama Society of CPAs, and the Tuscaloosa Chapter of CPAs.
